Autex Acoustics are leading designers and manufactures of innovative acoustic solutions. Their downtown Los Angeles office is both modern and awe-inspiring. Their acoustic solutions on display are pieces of artwork on their own.
PLANTERIOR DESIGN
Considering that Autex Acoustics solutions transform interiors into spaces people love, we had to find ways for plants to not compete with their stunning office design and furniture, but rather further elevate and complement.
We created several statement plant areas to provide an almost surround-sound feeling but with plants. We designed a full and cohesive plant office experience with a variety of tropical air-purifying plants that provide oxygen and energy to those who are gathering in the space.
In the conference room, we installed 12 eco-friendly wall-mounted white planters to blend into the wall allowing the plants to be the main attraction.
In other areas we created unique plant and pot pairings comprised of tall statement plants and custom Kintsugi inspired planters. We also highlighted areas with printed wallpaper designs by coupling them with tropical plants.
Above all, our proudest moment was the construction of a custom preserved moss wall art with a variety of moss species in various green tones, placed in a black frame and surrounded by a black Autex Acoustics logo. We were happy to incorporate the brand in a design forward and tasteful way, creating a one-of-a-kind biophilic artpiece.
